RBC Solutions BIP (Bank Interface Program) is an up-to-date solution developed by RBC Group especially for ERP-systems, for work with client bank systems of any bank. It is intended to download payments from Infor FMS SunSystems, MS Dynamics Navision, MS Dynamics Axapta, SAP, Scala, IFS, Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and other accounting systems into clients of various banks, as well as to import, process and post bank statements.
RBC Solutions BIP solves the problem of enterprises working with several banks at once, who deal with the downloading of data from the ERP system into several client bank systems, but do not have the means to organize data exchange with the accounting systems in operation. Especially when it is difficult to modify the financial system used, or the client bank only works with its own file formats.
RBC Solutions BIP analyses bank statements, processes the information received, it also automatically prepares and generates data to upload to the ERP system. On the screen, the downloaded bank statements are displayed at the top of the window, and the data prepared for the upload to the ERP system at the bottom. The user is provided with an opportunity to view the prepared transactions in the form, in which accounting entries will be created in the company’s general ledger, as well as fill in the missing data. Before downloading, BIP monitors the generated information and, for the convenience of users, highlights in red the uncompleted fields, which are mandatory.
Additional convenience of the interface is the capability to download in Excel statements broken down into accounting transactions, financial accounts, description of transactions, sums and analytical features.
RBC Solutions BIP works with bank files with random format and flexibly configured through a graphical interface. The system is configured for various options of payment orders (local payments, international payments, payments to the European Union (SEPA), pension funds, salary and other required payment formats). Similarly, the system can be set for various formats of statements provided by the bank. The client can work with any number of banks for which the format has been set.
When implementing RBC Solutions BIP, in cases where it is necessary to inform suppliers about the payment of invoices that have occurred, it is possible to set automatic notifications (remittance advice) by e-mail to the supplier’s e-mail box. Thus, the supplier is notified that a certain invoice with the specified number was paid on a certain date for a certain amount. This service helps to strengthen the relationship with counterparties and is an indication of high level automation within the enterprise.
RBC Solutions BIP supports any number of payment and statement formats and can be used successfully in any country of the world.
Currently, RBC Solutions BIP interface is available in 2 languages: Russian and English.
